Understanding Truck Towing Guides

Safety is critical when towing an RV Trailer. This training video discusses the importance of understanding a Truck's ratings and how these ratings limit the size of the trailer that can be safely towed. You will be provided the tools and basic understanding needed to assist your endeavor to properly match a truck and trailer, so that you can enjoy RVing safely.
RV Driving Safety

This program is endorsed by: The National Safety Council / RVIA / RVDA. Many insurance companies offer a discount for completion of this program. Check with your agent / insurance company for qualifying discounts.
Once purchased and logged in all lessons must be watched in their entirety, including the Introduction (it may need to be watched again after the purchase of the course). Quizzes must also be passed. After these conditions are accomplished a certificate of completion will be issued to the account.

Understanding Air Brakes

This video provides the Motorhome owner with a basic understanding of how RV air brake systems function and the few simple tests to insure proper operation. This program tracks with state requirements and will prepare the RV owner to pass the required demonstration of airbrake testing proficiency, where applicable.

RV Weight & Tire Safety

The First part of this course focuses on weight and balance issues related to loading and operating their RV within established ratings and safety limitations. Learn to “speak the language of weight” and have a clear understanding of vehicle weigh ratings and the information on your weight labels. The seminar also covers the potential hazards and expense of operating in excess of weight limitations. Procedures for accurate weighing of RVs will also be discussed. This seminar is designed to assist owners in managing their existing RV weights as well as purchasing the correct RV to match their personal needs. The weight of the RV is carried by the tires. RV tire have unique issues and this course helps the owner understand the basics of the characteristics of tires used on Recreation Vehicles. Procedures for determining the correct inflation pressure for optimum life, performance, and safety will be presented in this seminar. It will also cover maintenance and care of your tires.

Truck and Trailer Matching
